Tongabezi Lodge

Tongabezi Lodge sits on the Zambezi riverbank, 12 kilometres upstream of Victoria Falls. Its individually furnished cottages and houses draw decorative objects from around Africa, with accommodation designed to offer different degrees of space and privacy. River Cottages provide decks beside the water, while the larger houses have distinct identities. The Nut House combines river views with Moroccan lighting and a claw-foot bath; the two-bedroom Dog House adds indoor and outdoor lounges and a private plunge pool. Activities include electric-dhow river cruises, fishing, visits to Victoria Falls and local markets, and tours of the organic garden. A lap pool and gym offer quieter time at the lodge between excursions.
