Topolobampo is Rick Bayless's Chicago fine-dining restaurant, exploring Mexican food through tasting menus that change every six to eight weeks. Each sequence develops a theme drawn from people, regions, history or art, presenting Mexican culinary traditions through carefully composed courses. Chef de cuisine Meagan O'Connor and pastry chef Jennifer Enyart guide the kitchen alongside Bayless, whose research has involved cooks across Mexico. Private experiences can also take place in his culinary library, lined with more than 2,000 cookbooks and used as a test kitchen during the day. The main dining room is available for selected private meals and gatherings.
