Now called von Trapp Family Lodge & Resort, this Stowe property brings an Austrian influence to the Green Mountains. Its rooms and suites combine European and American elements, with mountain views and an estate of around 2,600 acres shaping the stay. The resort's landscape supports outdoor activity across the seasons, including hiking, mountain biking and cross-country skiing. The estate also includes the family farm and a brewing operation, giving guests several ways to explore beyond the main lodge. Four restaurants follow a farm-to-table approach. The brewery and Bierhall add another expression of the Austrian connection, making food and drink part of the property's identity as well as its mountain setting.
