Tromsø Arctic Reindeer Sámi experience
Tromsø-area reindeer camp, Norway
Tromsø Arctic Reindeer welcomes visitors to a camp run by a Sámi reindeer-herding family. Experiences combine time with the herd and cultural storytelling, with different options for feeding, meals and sledding. The value lies in listening to the hosts as much as in meeting the animals. Choose the programme for its content rather than simply its length, and approach the visit as an introduction to a living culture whose rhythms extend far beyond tourism.
