Under Canvas Glacier is a seasonal tented camp seven miles from the west entrance to Glacier National Park. Accommodation includes Safari tents using nearby bathhouses and Deluxe tents with private bathrooms, hot showers and flushing toilets. Suites add a lounge with a sofa bed, while family arrangements can include a separate adjacent children's tent. Wood-burning stoves provide warmth, and private decks accompany selected tents. Embers Café serves locally inspired casual food, with campfires and s'mores forming part of evenings on site. The camp provides a base for hiking, fly fishing and other activities around the park's lakes and mountain landscape.
