Vögeli Restaurant is part of the family-run Alpenhotel in Malbun, at roughly 1,600 metres above sea level. Karlheinz Vögeli cooks a hearty menu that moves between Alpine specialities and international dishes. He and Vibeke have run the hotel since 2002, continuing a family business now involving a fifth generation. Dining takes place across several rooms, including the pine-panelled Arvenstube, the smaller Tannenstube and a historic hall for larger gatherings. A sunny terrace and outdoor bar open the meal to the surrounding mountain panorama.
