Yoshi is the Japanese restaurant at Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo, with a dining room designed by Didier Gomez for around 40 guests. Picture windows look towards a garden created by Jacques Messin, giving the room a quiet backdrop within central Monaco. The menu includes nigiri, teppanyaki and black cod marinated in sake, with bento boxes offered at lunch. Other dishes explore freer combinations, such as lobster ravioli with marinated turnips and Wagyu rib steak with freshly grated wasabi. Sake pairings accompany the cooking. The small dining room and garden outlook are distinctive parts of the experience alongside the Japanese menu.
