Zhiwa Ling Heritage

Zhiwa Ling Heritage is a Bhutanese-owned hotel in the Paro Valley, conceived as a place where the country’s architecture and artistry shape the stay. Carved timber, traditional stonework, painted murals and hand-carved motifs draw on Bhutan’s dzongs, or fortress monasteries. The hotel opened in 2005 after five years of development. Its temple hosts guided meditation, adding a spiritual dimension to the property’s cultural setting. The spa is named for the Medicine Buddha and draws on Bhutanese healing traditions. These elements give the hotel a strong connection to local craftsmanship and religious heritage, alongside its rooms and hospitality.
