Labuan Bajo

Labuan Bajo sits on the western tip of Flores, where a busy harbour opens onto a scatter of islands. Boats carry visitors to Komodo National Park for dragon encounters, reef dives and walks above curving bays. Back on land, beach resorts and hillside restaurants make it worth staying beyond a single night. Leave a day for the caves and villages inland, and plan island outings around the weather rather than trying to see everything in one hurried trip.
