Niseko

Niseko’s four ski areas spread across Mount Annupuri, facing the distinctive cone of Mount Yotei. Hirafu has the busiest cluster of restaurants and apartments, while Hanazono and the surrounding countryside offer quieter retreats with private hot springs. Winter brings long days on the slopes; summer opens the rivers, golf course and mountain trails. Between outings, there are intimate sushi counters, seasonal Japanese dinners and small places serving the produce of Hokkaido.
